The COP Canal Winchester ride does not officially start until April but it sounds like quite a few people are thinking about riding out of Canal, from behind Shades Restaurant, on Tuesday. I've heard start times from 4:30-5:30pm but in the interests of the working class, I'm guessing 5:30pm is probably the "official" time. Important: This is not a COP sanctioned ride, there will be no sign-up sheets and probably no maps. Everyone is responsible for choosing a route that gets them back to the parking lot prior to sunset, safely and I doubt there will be anyone who hangs back acting as a "sweeper". Names I have heard who are attending are Ryan R, Steve O, Nathan, maybe Amanda and others. If you plan to attend you may want to post a comment so others can see with whom they might be riding as an evaluation for the speed of the group or groups.
UPDATES: 1) The Westerville Cycling Club Wednesday ride begins this week out of Hoover Dam parking lot at 6:00pm. 2) There is a group ride out of Gloryland Nazarene Church on Coonpath Road at 9:00am. Scheduled to appear are Kenda Janet, Mark C, Steve O, Nathan, Flyin Tuna & others. Planning on a socially paced 60 mile ride. Everybody welcome to join in the fun. .

I'll plan to be there but I am riding to a meeting Tuesday morning in Grove City. I may have about 70 miles by the time I get to Canal so take it easy on me. Also, I don't know if I can get there by 5:30. May need to start at 6. The rest of you can do what you want. Also, we are riding Wednesday at 9 am from Gloryland Church on Coonpath Rd. Probably will do around 60 miles. All are welcome to join us.

Wait a minute. You want us to push back our starting time and cut back our miles to satisfy you after you will already have 70 miles that day???? That weight loss must have included brain cells.

I can't ride til 6pm either tonight so I'll probably just ride from my house. Also can't make the Wed. ride, I have to make sure my days off are covered before they are even approved...have a good ride!

I have a meeting that ends at 4:30. Depending on traffic I may or may not make it by 5:30. If later I will just meander the country side until I see someone on a bike.

I got 23 miles in tonight. Next week I may show up, even if it's 5:30. :)
