Event Planning--Matching Cyclists with Cyclists
This page seeks to match cyclists with other cyclists who are attending an event. For example, you have signed up for "xyz Misery Ride" and are wondering if there are other area cyclists attending the same event. Maybe you want to share a ride, or a room or want to be warned ahead of time if I too will be there with my annoying camera.
Using publicly available information, I will begin to post events that have someone from our area attending, listing that person or persons. If you would like to have your name added to the list, just send me an email through the "Contact Us" page on this site or send an email to me at [email protected].
On the other hand, if you see your name on the list and want it removed for whatever reason, let me know.
If you see someone's name and you'd like to contact that cyclist, for now, you are on your own but at least you'll know who to contact if you wish.
Maybe you dread this idea because you don't want to be put in a position to say no to someone's interest in riding and/or bunking together. Long ago I stopped sharing a room at these events. Every time someone told me they don't snore, they always snore and I'd spend a sleepless night. I just tell folks no and that's the end of it and all you have to say too. I'll start this, see how it goes and either keep it going or pull the plug, depending on things. I'll have content up soon.
