Awoke the morning after the Jalama Beach ride with very crummy cold symptoms, a nose that ran constantly and watering eyes. I had to text Brian that I would not be able to answer the bell for the next round and was quite aggravated. At noon, I went out to get something to eat but my eyes watered so badly I could hardly keep them open. I doubled the normal dosage of cold meds and hoped for the best. It was a nice day I missed, more sun and warm temps. Late in the day, things dried up a bit and it gave me some hope that I'd be able to get back on the bike the next day. Meantime, talk about a matter of perspective, read the below headline and article from an area paper, "The drabness of winter"???? If they only knew how fortunate they are.
Are you enjoying new, abundant life?
I love springtime, the deadness and drabness of winter is giving way to new life.
The birds are singing, the grass is greener, and it seems like everything is
blooming and bursting with vibrant colors and fragrances, etc.....
