Dave Chesrown sent me the below. Curious to see how others from our local cycling community did in the race but results not yet posted for overall finishers. However, for part of the route, Marty was King
Just wanted to let all our fellow riders know that local boy Marty Sedluk was the winner of this weeks Ohio Spring Race Series Strava Challenge. How it works is Strava picks a segment on the race that all categories are measured on, this includes the Cat 1,2,3 pro's the Cat 4,5's and the Cat 5's. Every week leading up to this had been won by a Cat 1 or 2 Pro becuase they are just that fast. Kudos to Marty for putting it on the pro's and everyone else on this segment http://app.strava.com/segments/1196022

Yes, I can't wait for the results either. I want to see if by me not showing up if that cleared the field for Amanda to win. On Sunday, while putting it to the Rossi tandem on a sign sprint into Marysville, I thought I should have saved this for the race instead. Oh well, there's always next week.

And here we go again...LOL No idea how I placed. I did finish, whereas some women in the 3/4 field did not..

Yes, here we go again. Let's hope something exciting happens at Canal tonight, so Mark can quit writing as other people. He really gave it up when he stated I won a sign sprint, not likely! Getting sloppy, Mark.

Unless you count the fact that most of us got a ride in before it rained, not much happened. Schleup was kind enough to wait for me and then pulled me in to Canal at 26+ mph. Also, I found out that I placed 12th out of 18 women in the race. Not bad but I kind of wanted 10th! Maybe I should start with something less hilly next time...haha
