With the forecast, I've heard 9:00am is the preferred start time for the Fall HOOT. Of interest is Poobah created and marked the route. With his breadth of knowledge and experience, I expect this to be the perfect route. Let me know if you'd rather start at a different time but the Alpha Female, Flyin Tuna wanted this as the start time.

I have never seen so many riders off course on a COP ride. The nearly invisible right turn mark at the main drag in Bremen, the straight marker when it should have indicated right at 664 and 312, the list goes on. I took 312 til it dead-ended and then turned around and came all the way back and then repeated the whole thing again before figuring out the bear-right at 664 and then once back on the route on 664 never saw a marker and ended up in Logan. I ended up with 105 instead of 88 (riding from home to Carroll and back). I appreciate the work-out.

Eve H and I had a wonderful ride together! Riding a hybrid really slows down the pace so that you can take in all of the scenery with the leave colors starting to change. We started real early as I had to get back. We got a fast fly-by from Pete and his brother from Pickerington on the downhill into Bremen. They were obviously on a Top Gun mission and couldn't say hi. Later, The Ox and his entourage of domestiques passed us not once, but twice. No, they didn't get lost. They just had to make a pass at Sugar Grove to refill their tanks so they could rocket by on a climb. I guess you can call this the Fall Hoot Challenge. Besides having hills, it was a challenge to stay on course. We had to look very hard for the dark green dan henry arrows that really blended into the nice roads, but we managed to stay on route. It was a great way to end the season and I look forward to riding with folks next year! Eve says she is really looking forward to this winter's spin classes with Young Nick Phenom! Nick, make sure she gets on the CFC training program in class! Have to start her out early so she can do CFC next year with us! Good luck and stay in shape over the winter!
