Cycling Blog at the Royal Wedding!

I love traveling so Thursday evening I took a red eye flight across the pond and arrived in England. Rented a bike and rode around before headng into London and got fairly close to the wedding party. I'll have more on this later, with images but fear not, I will be back in time for the Nelsonville ride on Saturday. I'm typing this from my 1st class seat on a United flight out of Gatwick airport. You won't believe the story I have to tell.

Recumbent Dude (Nathan)

Finally arrived in India after nearly 30 hours of travel. I immediately started pounding down indian food. Not sure how that is going to fare with my waistline but we'll see.

Got out for a ride today with the Indian National Recumbent Team (Lodge: 18) for a ride around Chennai. I am trying to get geared up for my mountainous rides over in Ooty (Spelled correctly) with "The Ox". As I mentioned before, he is really an Ox... no... a REAL ox. This guy really breaks the paradigm of smaller climbers / bigger sprinters. He wears you down mercilessly on the climbs until you are completely demoralized. His mind games are incredible! Maybe its that ring in his nose. anyway...

All else is good so far. I have been drinking out of the tap and any stagnant pools of water that I come across in a desperate attempt to keep the weight off through some bowel infecting bacteria... No luck yet but I'll keep you in the loop.

On another note: I will be back the Friday before TOSRV and am planning to ride. If someone can post any planned departure times here I'd appreciate it.
