Steve Oxley passes along the below invite to all the cyclists who read the blog.  Despite the above image, you do not have to drink excessively to have a good time.  You can partake in soda pops instead.  Just good times with good people.

6:00 - 9:00PM Pot luck - people last names beginning with a-h bring appetizer/salad dishes, last names i-r bring main course kind of dishes, and last names s-z bring deserts. Due to Slate Runs liquor license, no outside alcoholic beverages may be brought in. Spot tastings provided, purchase by the glass or bottle on your own.

Please RSVP your attendance and (guest ?) by Friday, November 30th to Steve or Eve. Use e-mail addresses.
oxley.steve@gmail.com or eve@aowingins.com

Also, don't forget about the mountain bike trail building opportunity this Sunday (read farther below for details) and I hear there is a bike ride brewing out of Granville bound for Bladensburg for Saturday, organized by Flyin Tuna.  More to come.

Geesh, who is that lush with her head in the toilet? Don't want to sit next to her.

If Cindy could organize a Bladensburg Pancake PLUS ride for those of us training for Dirty Dozen that would be great, even riding down steep hills just to get to the bottom and then back up. Sick..I know

She can't be bothered making the maps so she assigned me the task. I'll come up with an ultra hilly way up as an option and a flatish option too.

Will this be leaving from Wildwood Park in Granville? I have a few other friends interested in riding.

Been there ...

Here technique is obviously flawed :

1. Always role-up your sleeves to prevent transfer of toilette germs onto your clothing.

2. Palms should be firmly placed down on the toilette. This is a more stable and ergonomic approach to centering your head about the toilette before the contents of your stomach come racing past your esophagus(sp?).

3. If time permits, try to remove any jewelry and place said jewelry in your pockets. That will reduce the chances of your prized possessions(sp?) being flushed down the toilette.

Been There, with all due respect, I have been there many more times than you and I know the technique all too well. I was just fakin it for the camera. You forgot many key points that I know all too well, wait, did I already say that cause I'm already on my 4th beer...anyway, an important point is not to shove my nose into the swirling water. Yes, as a youth I received many swirlies from "friends" but that is a bit different. Although, I've been told toilet water is full of protein so I don't mind it much. Anyway, I forget what else I was going to say other than keep the beak out of the water. Buuuurrrrp.
